Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

🔒 The Short Version: ImageTool Pro is a 100% client-side application. Your images, files, and personal media never leave your browser and are never uploaded to any server.

1. Zero File Processing on External Servers

ImageTool Pro operates completely within your local browser environment using JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas technology. When you select, compress, pad, or convert an image:

  • The file is processed locally using your device's memory (RAM) and processor.
  • No image data, metadata, or media content is transmitted over the internet to remote servers.
  • We do not store, view, copy, or retain any of your processed files.

2. Data Collection & Analytics

Because our core utilities function locally, we do not collect personal identification information (such as your name, address, or uploaded content).

We may use minimal, privacy-focused website analytics to measure basic aggregate traffic metrics (e.g., total visitors, page views, and general country location). This data is completely anonymized and contains zero information about the files you process.

3. Local Storage and Cookies

ImageTool Pro does not use tracking cookies or persistent tracking mechanisms. Temporary browser session data may be used locally on your device to remember user UI preferences (such as dark mode settings or tool preferences).

4. External Services

If you use our Contact Page to send us feedback, support requests, or bug reports, the information you provide (name, email, message) is processed securely via our form provider solely to reply to your inquiry. We never sell or share your contact details with third parties.

5. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new browser technologies or feature additions. Any updates will be reflected directly on this page with an updated revision date.
